About Slicks
Slicks is a kart telemetry app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. It opens the XRK and XRZ files AiM loggers record, MyChron included, and turns a session into the numbers a driver acts on between heats: sector times against the session’s best, the theoretical best lap, the corners where time was lost, engine peaks against the window a tuner sets, and any two laps raced against each other round the track.
Who makes it
Slicks is made by Pineapple Technologies Inc. It has been on the App Store since 30 September 2026, free to download, as one app for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Slicks is independent: it is not made, endorsed or supported by AiM Tech, and AiM, MyChron and XRK are trademarks of their owners.
How it works
Slicks reads the files with its own parser, written for the app, so it needs no AiM software and no internet connection to open a session: everything is worked out on the device. Sessions sync through your Slicks account to every device you sign in on, and you can share one session with a coach by a link you can revoke at any time; the original file never leaves your account. The privacy page says exactly what is stored and where.
Who it is for
Drivers who run an AiM logger and want answers at the track rather than an evening of charts at a desk, and the coaches and tuners they share their sessions with.
