Terms
Last updated 22 September 2026
These are the terms for using Slicks: the app on iPhone, iPad and Mac, and this website. Using either means you agree to them. Slicks is made by Pineapple Technologies Inc.
Your account
You sign in with Apple or Google; we never hold a password. The account is yours alone: keep the devices you sign in on to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You can delete the account from inside the app at any time, and everything stored under it is removed with it.
Your files
The telemetry you import and everything you type in stay yours. Slicks takes only the permission it needs to store them, work out the laps and summaries from them, move them between your devices, and, when you share a session by link, show that session’s summary to whoever holds the link. Only import files you have the right to use.
Sharing
A share link shows one session’s summary to anyone who has it, until you revoke it in the app. Who you give it to is up to you. The original file is never reachable through a link, and Slicks publishes nothing on its own.
What Slicks is for
Slicks reads what a logger recorded and shows it. Every number is worked out from the file, and a file can be wrong or incomplete: check what you see against your own judgement before changing anything on a kart, and do not take the numbers as advice on how to drive. What happens on the track is your responsibility.
Using the service fairly
Do not try to reach other people’s sessions, overload the service, or use it for anything unlawful. We may suspend an account that does. We may also change or stop the service; a change that affects what you keep is announced in the app first.
No warranty
Slicks is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we promise neither, and, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage from using it, from a session that was lost, or from a decision made on its numbers. Nothing here takes away rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use Slicks after that means you accept the new terms.
